At a high school reunion, Ella, who divorced her cheating ex-husband, runs into Julian, her old nemesis from school days. The two engage in a fierce drinking contest at the party, only to end up in bed together... Three months later, Ella discovers she's pregnant with her rival's child. When she goes to the hospital for an abortion, she finds out that the attending physician is none other than Julian. After the abortion is unfortunately postponed due to medical reasons, Ella agrees to let Julian move in and take care of her until she can undergo the procedure. As they live together day and night, they slowly come to realize their feelings for each other—though a little too late.
