Kara Miller, a children’s sand-tray therapist in Chicago, discovers her husband Daniel exploits sand therapy to extort wealthy clients by uncovering their secrets. Betrayed, she gathers evidence and collaborates with the FBI to dismantle his criminal network.
After Daniel's conviction, Kara opens a nonprofit sand therapy studio to help wounded children for free. Years later, paroled Daniel and his accomplice Victor threaten her, but Kara stays committed to her mission, using sand play to reveal hidden pain and protect vulnerable children amid ongoing corruption.
