Adeline, an Omega, suffers three miscarriages, each secretly orchestrated by her Alpha husband Shawn and her best friend Lora to avenge a old grudge. Discovering their betrayal, Adeline leaves Shawn and reunites with Eric, her childhood sweetheart and heir to the Castello family. Shawn follows her to San Francisco, begging for forgiveness, but Adeline has moved on. Lora, vengeful and exposed, attacks Adeline with a knife; Shawn takes the blade and disappears after saying, “I owe you nothing.” Lora is arrested, Shawn’s family goes bankrupt, and Adeline marries Eric, starting a new life. Shawn transfers all his remaining assets to Adeline, who donates them to children’s charities. He vanishes forever, while Adeline finds peace and happiness with Eric.
