For twenty years, painter Susan pours her heart into her work, only to have celebrated art critic Paul steal her paintings, claim them as his own, and dismiss her as talentless. Secretly, Susan records time-lapse videos of every canvas she creates. At Paul’s solo exhibition, she unveils the footage alongside sketches and other proof, exposing his fraud and destroying his reputation. With curator Leah, Susan then launches the “Unseen Female Painters” exhibition series, giving plagiarized and overlooked women artists the recognition they deserve. More than a decade later, a permanent exhibition space honors countless female creators. Free from the past, Susan leaves the cold, north-facing studio that sheltered her for twenty years and begins a new chapter, letting her persistence and passion shine on.
