Aila, a college student, is framed by her scheming classmate Celeste. After one night with Roman — CEO of the Morfield Group — she finds herself pregnant and drops out of school, raising her daughter Mabel alone for six years. One day, when Mabel runs a fever, a falcon mark appears on her skin, triggering a citywide search by the Morfield family to find their kin. As Aila climbs through her career while being repeatedly sabotaged, she is reunited with Roman and they fall in love — only to uncover the greatest secret of all: she is Charlotte, the long-lost heiress of the Hawthorne family.
