Victoria, heir to Sterling Group, is pursued by ex-husband Alexander, who humbles himself to win her back. Scarlett, backed by Eleanor, schemes against her, then kills to silence a witness. A recorded confession trap brings her down. Victoria's identity goes public and she slowly accepts Alexander, but Richard objects and Christian returns as her Prospective Betrothed. Alexander proposes in the Firefly Garden just as Victoria's father falls critically ill. Season one ends.
