Dexter Vance descends the mountain in search of his childhood sweetheart, 'Muffin.' After rescuing Elise Fontaine from assassins, he is forced into a sudden marriage. Working undercover as a security guard, he protects The Fontaines against villains like Mr. K and The Fiend. When he discovers that The Fiend is the culprit who murdered his father and burned down The Orphanage, Dexter awakens the Vance Family Bladework to exact his revenge. Ultimately, he realizes that Elise is actually his long-lost 'Muffin.'
