Nora Ellis, Boston University's "ice queen," is stroking her cat Luna when hockey star Jack Calloway FaceTimes her with a bizarre confession: his body is synced with Luna's tail.
To keep the secret, they move in together. Through dawn runs and cat birthdays, wariness turns to trust, and trust to something dangerous.
Then Luna is neutered and the connection vanishes. Nora packs to leave, until she opens Jack’s bedroom door: roses, a wall of photos, and a wish he made 379 days ago.
